Ouvriers, paysans, soldats, étudiants et commerçants : cinq «groupes sociaux» de la société chinoise, officiellement définis depuis les années 50. Situations et scènes d'aujourd'hui font apparaître la dure réalité de la «société harmonieuse» et la fragilité du monde paysan qui la fonde.
Workers, peasants, soldiers, students and trades people: five "social groups" in Chinese society, officially so-defined since the 1950s. Present-day situations and scenes reveal the bare reality of this "harmonious society" and the fragility of the peasant lives that underpin it.
