ln these screen print drawings the "decorated surface" completely invades the domestic environment, marking the return of the decorative in the design advocated by the members of Memphis.
The compositions present interiors furnished in the purest Memphis style and are constructed in oblique projection, moving away from a realistic treatment and generating an impression of strangeness. The space is saturated with different juxtaposed patterns, some of which came from the research Sowden conducted in 1983. We can recognize some of his emblematic furniture, such as the Oberoi and Palace armchairs and his Antibes cabinet.
