Guided tours

Discover the Museum and its incomparable collection of modern and contemporary art, decipher the aesthetic and historical issues of a temporary exhibition, deepen your knowledge through themes… The Centre Pompidou offers guided tours of the Museum and its major exhibitions throughout the year.

Discovering exhibtions

Giving free rein to your emotions, learning to look at works with a critical and documented eye, and discovering the aesthetic and historical issues involved in a temporary exhibition: these are just some of the highlights in store for visitors during a guided tour of the Centre Pompidou’s exhibitions.

In the Museum

Guided tours, in French and English, are organised throughout the year to discover the masterpieces of the largest collection of modern and contemporary art in Europe.

Centre Pompidou Masterpieces

These tours are also an opportunity to discuss with a Centre Pompidou lecturer about the visual arts, architecture, design, the major movements of the 20th century and new forms of contemporary creation.

On every week-end throughout the year:

  • in French, Saturdays at 3 pm, Sundays at 11:30 am
  • in English, Saturdays at 11:30 am

On the first sunday of the month, it's free!

On the first Sunday of every month, a lecturer provides a tour through the museum, or you can enjoy your own free, random, unaccompanied journey through Europe’s biggest collection of modern and contemporary art.
