"Tenir tête"
Marion Fayolle

as part of La BD à tous les étages ("Comics on Every Floor")

29 May 2024 – 6 January 2025

Illustrator and author Marion Fayolle takes children on a poetic journey around the theme of nomadic encampments.

In this immersive installation shaped like a bivouac, echoing her graphic work, they are transported to an atmosphere reminiscent of holidays and outdoor activities. Three large head-shaped tents house unique workshops that take the form of shadow plays or animated projections. Outside, landscape ponchos to wear, material bean bags for resting, unexpected puddles to mimic, and soft, light stones to stack… A large mural completes this contemplative landscape, between sky and earth. All the delicacy, humour, and poetry of Marion Fayolle’s universe!
