Valérie Mréjen

Valérie Mréjen was born in 1969 in Paris, where she lives and works.
Represented by the Anne-Sarah Bénichou Gallery in Paris, her works have been presented in numerous exhibitions in France and abroad.
She has made several short films, documentaries (Pork and Milk, 2004, Valvert, 2008) and a feature film, Iris in Bloom, co-directed by Bertrand Schefer (Directors’ Fortnight, Cannes 2011).
She published (with Allia) Mon grand-père (1999), L’Agrume (2001), Eau sauvage (2004), and Forêt noire (2012) and Troisième personne (2017, both with P.O.L.).
In 2021, she directed Gardien Party with Mohamed El Khatib with and about museum wardens.
