On the theme of a nomad encampment, author and illustrator Marion Fayolle invites to discover her poetic and offbeat world with an immersive installation in the form of a bivouac. Imagined in resonance with her graphical work, this interactive installation delivers up its secrets through experimentation and contemplation. Children are transported into an atmosphere evoking holidays and open-air activities.

The public is invited to discover what lies hidden in the three great “tent-heads“ of the exhibition-workshop. Each of the “tent-heads“ hosts moments of sharing, discovery and amazement. Large “bird-book“ mobiles hover in the space above the “tent-heads“. A large mural fresco completes this landscape between earth and sky.
The first tent invites us to experiment with shadow plays echoing summer evenings in which arms, hands and faces come to life and become characters conducive to new narratives.
After the time of shadows comes the time of animated images, in the second “tent-head“. Lying comfortably on the floor, the public lets itself be carried away by projections of Marion Fayolle’s animated drawings revealing the finesse, humour and poetry of her world.
In the third “tent-head“ we find time for contemplation, wrapped up in strange duvets, our eyes glued to the star-mirrors. Other surprises await visitors outside these installations: poncho-landscapes to wear, pouffe-materials for relaxing, unexpected pools to mime, and light and soft stones to stack up.
