Mark Brusse slipped this letter into envelopes which were then sealed.
Each envelope was then placed in a padlocked box, the eighth box containing the keys of the padlocks. The owner of the work was thus torn between its desire to know the content of the envelopes and to preserve the integrity of the work. Mark Brusse expressed the desire that on the occasion of this presentation the content of the envelopes should finally be revealed after more than half
a century.
