Serge Bozon is one of the most brilliant of the younger generation of French film-makers - unconventional, above all keen to carve out a name in the history of cinema working in a hyper-modern breakaway style, and a lover of rock and psychedelic pop from the late sixties. With three noted films (including La France, winner of the prix Jean Vigo 2007) under his belt, he claims to be influenced by Fuller and Hawks, and works alongside Pascal Greggory, Benjamin Esdraffo and Axelle Ropert, his screenwriter, while keeping close to his contemporaries in the cinema, such as Jean-Claude Biette or Paul Vecchiali. For Dernière Major! this indefatigable film-lover and critic, reluctant DJ and actor, takes over the Forum and invites his regular accomplices and his hot favourites in the 7th art. There will also be a screening of a selection of rare films.
