Fortini/Cani

Echoing their two previous works, with this film the Straubs take up excerpts

from the poem The Dogs of the Sinai by the Italian Jewish writer Franco

Fortini, published in 1967. The two filmmakers confront shots of Italian

landscapes, creating a portrait of the poet through the relationship between

text and image.
