John Cale

Influenced by composers such as John Cage, Tony Conrad and La Monte Young, founder, with Lou Reed, of the legendary Velvet Underground during the sixties, since the beginning of his career, John Cale has been focused on the avant-garde and is developing strange alliances through his projects: pop-rock songs and avant-garde records, punk music and contemporary music. On the occasion of the release of a new album in Autumn 2011, the Pompidou Centre is inviting this rock legend to its stage.
