Le Vendredi saint à Pruchnik est le cadre dfun singulier rituel : un Judas de
paille et de chanvre, nez crochu et petit chapeau, pendu, bastonne, decapite,
brule et jete dans la riviere.
Good Friday at Pruchnik is the setting for a curious ritual: a Judas made from
straw and hemp, with a hooked nose and small hat, is hung, beaten, decapitated,
burnt and thrown in the river.

Elie, ancien déporté, decide en 1956 de retirer de son bras son matricule de
deportation. Il garde cette parcelle de peau depuis 50 ans dans son
portefeuille, jusqufau jour où il se le fait voler.
In 1956, Elie, a former deportee, decides to have his deportation number
removed from his arm. He kept the strip of skin for 50 years in his wallet,
until one day this is stolen.
