Sir Alice / Bernhard Willhelm

An author, composer, performer and researcher, Sir Alice has travelled the world appearing in university lectures, bizarre clubs, choreography centres and contemporary art museums. Known for embodying her electronic music during ecstatic shows, the "Madonna of the avant-garde" returns to the stage accompanied by Bernhard Willhelm. This prolific designer, a graduate of the Académie Royale des Beaux-arts in Antwerp, moves from ready-to-wear to stage costumes with an innate sense of performance. It is hardly surprising that these two figures, dedicated to preserving the artistic gesture in the worlds of fashion and music, have joined forces in the Centre Pompidou –a territory of freedom for them, far from the performance codes of the concert or the fashion show.
