A musician, a stage designer, actors and dancers have joined forces to form Le Groupe and explore The Letter of Lord Chandos. Fanny de Chaillé, whose pieces question our relationship with language and its organic extension, finds one of her favourite territories in this century-year-old yet highly modern text. Transforming this intimate confession into a collective representation, she develops her thoughts on power and the blind alleys of language, and proposes an astonishing physical interpretation of a literary text on stage. A work in the form of a bulwark against the loss of meaning to which our contemporary society is exposed.
