While minimalism marked the start of the physical mobility of the spectator - strictly speaking the phenomenology of perception -, post minimal film uses the camera as a foreign element in the field of perception, disturbing the phenomological connection between the interior horizon of the spectator and the exterior horizon of the world. Interior-exterior relations are reversed - film becomes an optical skin (film) that can be twisted in on itself like a Moebius band. The dynamic trick of forging relationships between the camera, the body and the screen is reinforced in these films presented in two closely-linked series: "horizons" and "frames".
