Group visits must be booked in advance.
They may be booked online or by telephone.
Your booking gives you access only to the area corresponding to the tour booked.

There are several circuits, to cater to the audience:
- Panorama of art, from 1905 to the present
From modern art to contemporary creation, an overview of the main features of the Musée National d’Art Moderne’s collection.
- Architecture
Discover the Centre Pompidou in all its technical and architectural aspects and see how, since 1977, the building has embodied the challenges of opening up a living culture to the city.
- Art and literature
Explore the relationships between the visual arts and literature and how they influence each other.
- Bodies and Identity
How do representations of the body challenge stereotypes and echo the questioning of society? An illustration of how the question of gender has changed over the 20th and 21st centuries.
- Introduction to the image
Composition, framing, point of view… Sharpen your knowledge and learn how an image is constructed and how its design affects its reception.
- Feminisms
How have the visual arts contributed to feminist struggles? Similarly, how have these struggles influenced art in the 20th and 21st centuries?
- Graphic design
Explore the expressive, graphic, sound and semantic potential of the letter and word, new materials that modern artists are starting to use in poetic and activist approaches at the crossroads between artistic disciplines.
- Recycling
Glued paper, objects employed for something other than their usual purpose, use of various materials... What are the artists' motivations? What are the aesthetic repercussions of these approaches in the development of modern and contemporary art?
Opening times:
- 9.00 am to 7.15 pm every day except Tuesdays
- Exhibitions open until 9.15 pm on Thursdays
- No group visits at the weekend from 1.00 to 5.00 pm

Subject to the availability of our speakers, tours can be organised in different languages: English, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Russian.

Booking
We suggest you book as soon as possible so we can prepare your tour:
- For tours with a Centre Pompidou guide: book five weeks before your visit
- For unaccompanied tours: book no later than the day before your visit

Payment:
You may pay for your tours by bank transfer, cheque or CB debit card.
You must pay in advance of the date of your tour for it to be confirmed:
• For guided tours with a guide: at least four weeks ahead of the tour
• For unaccompanied tours: no later than the day before your visit

Practical tips
Arrive early
Please allow for at least 10 minutes to get to the Centre Pompidou from the Metro/RER station Les Halles.
When you arrive at the Piazza, take the yellow "Groups" queue.
Plan for at least 10 minutes to avail yourselves of the services reserved for group visitors: reception, cloakrooms etc.
Tour light and well equipped
We have equipment to make your tour comfortable (wheelchairs, pushchairs, seat sticks) which you may borrow free of charge for the tour.
For your comfort during the tour, audio guides are available free of charge to adult groups.
