Sporal (dome)
2023
The term Sporal evokes cells, which are essential for countless organisms to reproduce: bacteria, plants, algae, fungi.
Mimosa Echard develops a complex imaginary universe around the plant world. Hybridity, fluidity and fusion are at the heart of her work, through her choice of techniques and materials, as well as the fields she explores. In her works, we find worlds and states co-existing – plastic and organic, human and non-human, natural and artificial – through amalgams, superimpositions and transparency effects. Liquid is also an essential element for Echard, dripping from works, flowing out of bodies or investing her compositions with a flow of images and information specific to digital capitalism.
