"The main aim of my work is to encourage people to use their imagination and make their environment more exciting." (Panton)
Architect and designer Verner Panton created his own firm in 1955 in Copenhagen and worked with many companies and furniture and fabric manufacturers. Made for his private residence, the Living Sculpture sofa is "pop" through the use of new materials and bright colors. A source of sensory, visual and tactile experiences, the work, like an organic cavity, is an environment ripe to relaxation with its warm colors and materials that absorb sound.
