Art de la table Kubus
1938
In the 1930s, Wagenfeld innovated by creating everyday objects out of glass.
After training at the Bauhaus, Wilhelm Wagenfeld began to work with the industry. Driven by the idea of creating objects that were bath high quality and economical, he developed the Kubus set of containers - one of his best-known creations, which was met with tremendous commercial success. Based on a rectangular model, the 17 pieces of the group were designed to go directly from the refrigerator to the table and to stack easily.
