ln this work, Melik Ohanian transforms scientific data into a sparkling image.
ln the light of scientific and philosophical theories, Ohanian questions the image's status and the concept of time through a wide range of media. This map comprises 12 luminescent balls representing the 12 international research stations located in the Arctic where the first studies on the region's climate were undertaken between 1881 and 1884. The balls recreate the observed temperature variations and translate them in light intensity variations, just like a score of light.
