Fauteuil Miss, don't you like caviar ?
1987
An architect by training, Ettore Sottsass is a prolific and multi-talented designer. Already in 1957, he created for the Poltronova company furniture that foreshadowed the radical architecture of the Italian counter-culture of the Sixties, a reaction against architectural functionalism. In 1987, he designed the Miss, don’t you like caviar? chair for the I suppose you know what I’m talking about dining room suite. Each piece of this ensemble consists of a number of heterogeneous geometrical elements having a symbolic connotation.
