The project presented at the 3rd Venice Biennale of Architecture, directed by Aldo Rossi, was designed by a working group which included Daniele Vitale. Prato della Valle is the largest square in Padua. The aim of the project was to highlight the surrounding monuments (Santa Giustina Basilica, the botanical garden, Faro Boaria and the Santa Croce quarter) by inserting two new buildings which reiterated the commercial and cultural aspect of the forum.
