Peep show
2021
ln five panels, Peep-Show mixes disparate modes of representation and iconography in reference to the history of panoramic painting, timelines and aquariums.
The piece traces the journey of two moles scratching the ground to burrow, much as we scratch our heads, imprisoned in a tubular space similar to the inside of a medicine ampoule. As a metaphor for the absurdity of the school system, they seem to be heading to nowhere and the massive shadow of the "1", symbol of performance and authority, hangs over their path.
