Simple geometric figures combined in a drawing in space produce airy, light and flexible compositions.
Regina Cassola Bracchi was a figure of the second wave of Italian Futurism in the 1930s. ln the late 1940s she created innovative sculptures with new materials like Plexiglas, acetate and Rhodoïd plastic. Her radical and unique abstraction combined spatial evocations and motifs inspired by the plant kingdom. It complies with the Movimento Arte Concreta, with which she became associated in 1951 through Bruno Munari.
