Bozzola's dynamic combination of simple and modular elements reflects the mutability of the animal and plant kingdoms.
A member of the Movimento Arte Concreta, Bozzola invented a purely plastic language in 1953 based on a trapezoidal-ovoid monoform, a modular element that he multiplied and combined according to mathematical rules and using different colours, rhythms and materials. He quickly broke away from the two-dimensional surface to occupy the three-dimensional space with art works using precise logical and mathematical models.
