Four self-portraits by artist aaajiao are contained within a folder that can be downloaded for free but is locked by a password only made known to the buyer of the work's NFT.
The password is an old one used by the artist that was hacked and disseminated in online databases, where it can theoretically be found by skilled users. NTFs_aaajiao forges a connection between cryptography, the circulation of digital information and computer hacking, while at the same time highlighting the limits of the individual ownership of digital goods, manifested by the NFT.
