Isabelle Cornaro

Winner of the 2010 Prix Ricard, the French artist Isabelle Cornaro employs found objects in her films, which she confronts with motives or gestures from the history of art, taking a fresh look at the problems of the ornamental and the ready-made. The session, devised by the artist as a space of dialogue between her films and other film objects produced on the margin of the dominant industry, delineates the contours of an immaterial and utopian exhibition.
