Méridien Stockhausen (III)

In Klang, the final cycle of compositions by Stockhausen interrupted by the death of the composer, each work represents an hour of the day. Here, the final Stockhausen meets a masterpiece from the maturity of Helmut Lachenmann, Movement (-vor der Erstarrung). This is a work that pushes the intuition of the third visionary artist, Hector Berlioz, right to its paroxysm : "Any body of sound that is put into music by a composer is a musical instrument".
