As a long-time partner of production company Les Films d’Ici, Marc Huraux has directed several films about music. Check the Changes looks at jazz, which was replaced by rap in youth community in the black ghettos in the late 1990s in the United States. It is a film about New York City, then a reflection of the world, and music's omnipresence in the streets.
