A Children's Book of Farming in Le Cateau-Cambresis is a collection of drawings made by students in association with the Musée Matisse [Matisse museum] in Cateau-Cambrésis. Carrie Pilto, the museum’s director, and artists Harrell Fletcher, Nolan Calish and Molly Sherman asked the students to illustrate sentences from a book about the history of farming in the area. A book of these drawings was to be published through the BOOK MACHINE (Paris) book manufacturer. This book is the first of a series of interactive projects run in collaboration with the Musée Matisse.
