Made in 1924 without a script and without any actors, Dziga Vertov's Kino-glaz ushered in a cinematographic style glorifying the Revolution, that departed from the fictional model of pre-revolutionary films, seeking to banish subjectivity and to make the man of future a being similar to a machine.
