Violoniste virtuose, compositeur visionnaire, Alexander Blnescu dirige le Blnescu Quartet

depuis 1987 et a collaboré avec Gavin Bryars, Michael Nyman, Phil Mulloy, David Byrne ou Kraftwerk. Auteur de la musique de plusieurs films de Stephen Dwoskin, dont Age is…, il lui rendra hommage en jouant ces morceaux et une composition spécialement écrite pour ce concert exceptionnel.

A virtuoso violinist and visionary composer, Alexander Blnescu has led the Blnescu Quartet since 1987 and worked with Gavin Bryars, Michael Nyman, Phil Mulloy, David Byrne and Kraftwerk. He has composed the music for several of Stephen Dwoskin’s fi lms, including Age is…,

and will pay tribute to him with a performance of these pieces, as well as a composition specially written for this exceptional concert.
