The Paradise of Tobias Rehberger: Libraries, Lamps, Chairs and Other Furniture
24 Feb 2013
The event is over
The book by artist Tobias Rehberger, Paradise (onestar press) could not exist without a library to host it and seems to have been the pretext for producing a piece of furniture. But although Rehberger often takes pleasure in donning the clothes of the designer, his reasons for doing so are unusual. One simply has to be interested in the process that resulted in the library, the minimalist bench or Murano glass lamps exhibited by the artist, for this designer activity to lose a little of its initial obviousness.
