Summer class

Every day in July, at Studio 13/16, dance and the visual arts merge, encouraging teenagers, whether or not they are dancers, to involve their bodies in contemporary creation. In partnership with the Centre National de la Danse, this Summer class provides the chance to explore a repertory of eclectic dance styles: funky style with Guy Sambe (5 to 13 July), jazz with Patricia Karagozian (14 to 20 July), percussive dance with Leela Petronio (21 to 27 July) and contemporary dance with Alexandre Roccoli (28 July to 3 August). Film shows immerse viewers in the heart of choreographic works and bring out the close links between dance and the visual arts. To experience this lineage, teenagers help to make a textile installation designed by the artist Juliette Gauthier. Between two kinds of dance step, the stage curtain is gradually woven day after day… Free admission; no reservation required.
