La Ribot, Juan Dominguez et Juan Loriente

La Ribot tells us that this project arose from an artistic, social and political fantasy, the desire to transform things and the way we see them, and to transform ourselves as a result. The choreographer joins forces with two of her stage partners in this piece: the dancer and choreographer Juan Dominguez and the actor Juan Loriente. In the Eighties, Maria La Ribot began to contribute to the development of new dance in Spain, pushing out its temporal, spatial and conceptual limits. During the Nineties, the artist from Madrid created stage works half-way between show, performance and video. After the solos of her early years, she moved on to pieces with a broader scope, which she produced alone or in partnership with other artists to explore, transgress and question the limits of representation, always with sharpness and humour.
