Embroidering to tell stories!
Special family workshop during the "Toussaint' holiday period

The artist Aurélie Mathigot offers children and their parents two progressive environments created with Mexican craft materials, which are linked with the exhibition "Frida et moi". While the smallest children embroider mats with fruit in the colours of Mexican country markets, while listening to tales told by a storyteller, the bigger children work with the artist on ideas about overabundance, invasion and time flying. With embroidery, ceramics, carved wood and straw, they transform the place and raw artisanal objects into a huge contemporary installation.
