Tonight, the Centre Pompidou piazza lights up and the museum goes into alert mode. On the piazza, the artist Élisa Pône explores music in all its visual aspects in a performance entitled Alliance caustique, l’écho des spectres. For this late-night opening, she proposes a journey through the colour spectrum in collaboration with spectral music composer Éric Arletti. In this work, all the shades of colour in fireworks are materialised through combustion, generating colour, sound and light. Élisa Pône establishes "the minimal, residual impact of spectacular pyrotechnical effects". Enter the Centre Pompidou, where the museum greets you with its presentation of the contemporary collections, "Une histoire. Art, architecture, design, des années 1980 à nos jours" and the brand new hang of the modern collections!
Music and firework show lasting 20’/Free admission from 8 p.m.; last admissions at 1.00 a.m.
