Mexique, musique d'aujourd'hui

Hilda Paredes plays a special role in this concert dedicated to art in Mexico today. Born in Mexico, she studied in London, all the while remaining in contact with multiple people in her country of birth. She currently teaches at the University of Mexico, and is deeply influenced by the work of surrealist Chilean poet Vincente Huidobro, the poet who founded Creationism and a friend of Cocteau, Breton and Éluard. This formed the basis for the creation of Altazor: work on the tongue, breath and vocal inflections.
