The web documentary, an object designed for the private sphere, is gradually extending its influence to the collective space of the film auditorium. And like the Seventh Art, these documentary writings on the Web mingle practices and disciplines. Arising from the realm of the audiovisual, they are now expressed in ways similar to drawing or video games. What kind of links are being forged between these arts? Two days of first-time showings and discussions provide a picture of some of the features of the web documentary.
