'Blah, Blah, Blah. Thoughts about colour, language and painting'
25 Sep 2013
The event is over
Our daily lives are subjects to a constant linguistic flow: gossip, emails, tweets, text messages, chatrooms, advertising pop-ups, recorded messages, and so on. The paintings in the Blah, Blah, Blah series undermine this tsunami of words and try to extricate us from it by repeating a syllable that means nothing, means everything, and expresses rubbish, something or nothing.
