« Heavens What Have I Done » Miguel Gutierrez

The exuberant, insatiable dancer and performer Miguel Gutierrez has a ferocious humour and infectious energy. He whirls us along in a monologue where digression rubs shoulders with irony before changing into a furious dance performed by his character complete with Marie-Antoinette wig, outsize eyelashes and exaggerated make-up. An agitator on the New York scene, Gutierrez has fun with the heritage of the great history of choreography and the formal lines separating artist and spectator. The audience members become protagonists, participating almost unknowingly in the happenings on stage.
