In the 1960's, Robert Filliou (1926-1977) asserted himself as one of the major figures of the Fluxus, an international artistic movement deriving from Dadaism, of which questioning of the borders between art and life is the central concern.
Filliou will always prefer continuous creation to the completed form, and created, from the principle of equivalence between "well done", "badly done" and "not done", real social poetics. At the end of the 1970s, he found in video a tool particularly suited to his creative freedom, as is notably demonstrated in Telepathic Music No7 and And So On, End So Soon.
