Collective Sound Checks

Teenagers are invited to try out new sound experiments with the mobile technologies of smartphones. At each session, there is a different scenario for using these mobile technologies in a new way: playing music, participating in a group game or exploring an augmented reality environment with sound and lighting. The scenarios evolve according to the technologies developed during the CoSiMa (Collaborative Situated Media) project and the participants' ideas. These experiments are devised by IRCAM, Orbe and NoDesign, with the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, the Le Mans École Supérieure des Beaux-arts and ID Scènes.
