In Ottof ("ants" in the Berber language), words and gestures are "the reservoirs and echoes of violences to be transformed". With this new work, Bouchra Ouizguen brings together four women who have already performed in her pieces (Madame Plaza, Ha! and Les corbeaux). Onstage, the five of them explore this everyday life which affects their rights through their words and bodies. Bouchra Ouizguen "does not dance for nothing". For the space of a show, the Moroccan choreographer, who lives and works in Marrakesh, thus brings together "these ants at work in daily life" to create a committed work of art, rooted in her country's present and culture.
