De retour à la Guadeloupe, que son père a quitté cinquante ans plus tôt, la cinéaste remonte le temps afi n de retracer l'histoire de son nom. Son enquête nous transporte jusqu'à l'époque de l'esclavage.
On returning to the island of Guadeloupe which her father left fi fty years earlier, the fi lmmaker goes back in time to trace the history of her name. Her enquiry takes us back to the period of slavery.
