In 1997, Charles de Meaux, Pierre Huyghe and Philippe Parreno, assisted by Xavier Douroux and Franck Gautherot and later joined by Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, founded a unique production structure, Anna Sanders Films. This real or imaginary entity provided a link between works and those who develop them, venturing into the as yet uncultivated territory of the borderland between film and contemporary art to create a radically new conception of the moving image. In 2005 Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster produced Parc Central, a film consisting of eleven sequences filmed in Kyoto, Buenos Aires, Shanghai and Rio.
Parc Central by Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster (2006, 50’) is preceded by Pierre Huyghe's "Antarctica" (2005, 2’30). Session presented by Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster (subject to availability) and Charles de Meaux.
