Ictus

Ictus will be associating two completely different composers: Yan Maresz, and Bruno Mantovani. Maresz's masterpiece for plucked strings, Sul Segno, has taken rhythmic complexity and intensity to new heights. Mantovani - whose busy and prolific career involves relentlessly pushing borders once they become familiar - is introducing electronics to disrupt acoustics or "musicalise" three see-through boxes facing three instrument groups.
