In 1976, Michelangelo Pistoletto published a square book measuring 9 cm x 9 cm with the title Cento Mostre nel Mese di Ottobre, 1976, or one hundred conceptual exhibition proposals in the space of one month. This book has had an influence on all today’s curators, a covert influence since 99% of them do not know that it exists. From this perfect square, Mathieu Copeland will explain his vision of exhibitions on paper.
