Concert du Cursus #2
24 Sep 2022
The event is over
Ircam’s Composition and Computer Music programme continues the shift begun in recent years toward a greater diversity of musical forms and aesthetics. The works in 2022 showcase danced, sung and audiovisual performances as well as to electroacoustic music.
Presented in the Grand Salle at the Centre Pompidou and at 3537 Rue des Francs-Bourgeois in the form of an itinerant concert, the two evening events by the Cursus subvert forms and formats and articulate the relationship between electronics and the stage space. This situation is one that Pierre Jodlowski, the new composer associated with the Cursus, who provided the artistic accompaniment of the very eclectic 2021-2022 Cursus, holds close to heart.
