The event is over
For this session, the projection of Moi aussi j’aime la politique (I Like Politics Too) brings together artist and filmmaker Marie Voignier, curator Claire Migraine, along with Soar Gueron and Fanny Spano, who accompanied the realisation of the project dealing with profound questions of migration and human rights.
From 2018 to 2022, a group of citizens who support and conduct hosting actions for exiles crossing the Franco-Italian border, particularly in the Roya Valley, introduced a "New Sponsors" commission. They invited artist Marie Voignier to reflect on a film that would capture a collectively lived human experience, dealing more generally with the concept of hosting, hospitality and solidarity through the prism of history and unique stories in an age-old tradition spanning several centuries.
Moi aussi j’aime la politique, the film that Marie Voignier then made is a perpetually moving image, ever at the right distance, that navigates between individuals whose histories and paths intersect, landscapes, sensitive regions, narratives, bodies, interiors, which she recounts alternately in terms of their presence and their absence, balancing voices and silence.

Soar Gueron is a student of Contemporary History and Social Sciences in the Middle East and the Maghreb at INALCO and a tutor of literary Arabic. He participated in the "New Sponsors" action for Marie Voignier's film, in which he also intervenes. Claire Migraine
Claire Migraine is an exhibition curator and production manager. She is interested in artistic practices and co-productions that propose new forms of political action and social criticism aimed at transforming the world rather than representing it, with a specific focus on works and research in interaction with contemporary society and the public space.
Since 2011 Claire Migraine has been the artistic director of the thankyouforcoming association in Nice (a member of the Arts in Residence network) and has coordinated the ACROSS programme of critical and curatorial residencies and the mediation of the "New Sponsors" protocol in the south.
Fanny Spano
Having studied the arts and scenography at the Higher Schools of Art in Aix, Paris-Cergy, Brera di Milano and Monaco, as well as management for cultural organisations at the University of Paris, Dauphine, Fanny Spano practices permaculture, cooking and art work. She took part in the "New Sponsors" action for Marie Voignier's project.
Marie Voignier
Marie Voignier is an artist and filmmaker. She studied at the Compiègne University of Technology (UTC), then in Berlin (TUB), where she began to practice photography. To improve this practice, she continued her studies at the Lyon School of Fine Art.
