Apichatpong Weerasethakul received the Palme d’Or in 2010 for his film Oncle Boonmee, where he remembers his former lives. This was his fifth collaboration with Charles de Meaux. In 2000, the latter produced the Thai film maker's first work: MysteriousObject at Noon, a brilliant film that has never been released in the cinema, in the form of a cadavre exquis.
